“Forget the dancer, the center of the ego. Become the dance. That is the meditation.”
Osho.
When you really dance then you are no more, you are just dancing, no ego is there to prevent you to move in a certain way, you are free to express yourself without judgment.
Dance is a complementary activity that we strongly recommend to all yogis. Sometimes the discipline of Hata yoga restrict our self in a set of movements and repetitive posture and without denying the immense benefits of this practice there is also the need to move our body and our mind in a more free way! You will find your Way only if you allow yourself to get lost! Sounds a bit contradictory? Maybe but in fact only the person the can loose himself in an activity leaving behind all sort of mind rigidity is capable of meditation, because he is relaxed and they don’t need to be in control of everything.
