This teaching was transmitted to me directly by my teacher Isaac V.A.

In classical mythology, man’s worst enemy is certainly the dragon. According to Western tradition it symbolizes destruction and fear, those who wanted to achieve wisdom and personal wealth (often represented by the girl) must challenge it, kill it, only in this way will they be able to take possession of its much coveted treasure. He who travels the path to self-knowledge must defeat the three-headed dragon, which symbolizes fear, guilt and doubt. The three heads must be cut off at the same time beacuse even if only one remains, the other two can easily regenerate.

FEAR

Fear resides in the root chakra (Muladhara) weakening our motor system, in fact when you are afraid your legs literally “tremble”, fear blocks us, does not allow us to walk further, reduces our prospects as the future is inextricably linked to it. The greatest fear is obviously the fear of death but we normally place in the distant future and therefore we tend to live as if we would never have to deal with it even if we constantly fear it. I always recommend bringing this event as close to the present as possible in order to streamline our decisions. Normally our right hemisphere knows what it wants, but the fear created by a thought form dominates us and so we sabotage ourselves, we postpone that great project or a trip to a distant future that perhaps will never arrive. Cutting off this head means creating today what we feel is right without thinking about those obstacles and monsters that only exist in our heads. Take one step at a time, come out of your hiding place without looking at the goal, the important thing is to move, fear grows in those who stay still.

GUILT

Guilt is located in the heart chakra (Anahata) on the spine between the two lungs, and is inextricably linked to our past. What are those actions that you can’t forgive yourself? What are those actions that you didn’t take when you were supposed to? Have you ever told yourself that maybe it had to go just like this to create your present? However wrong an action may be, there is forgiveness, not from society (it will probably never forgive you) but within yourself, can you forgive yourself? This forgiveness comes from the heart and from a deep acceptance, we are not perfect and never will be, but if we learn to love our defects we can more easily improve them. Criticism and self-criticism only generate blame, so before saying something against ourselves or others, let’s think about why we are doing it. Is our criticism really useful? Cutting off this head means unloading the burden of the past, to be fresh and young again like a child who cries but a moment later returns to play, forgetful of his past. This freshness must be trained by observing ourselves in the present moment.

DOUBT

Today you have just left home and you find yourself here, in front of different paths, which will lead to totally different experiences, which one do you choose? or do you prefer not to choose and return to your safe haven? You are paralyzed by doubt, which for many is the most difficult head to cut off and which can easily regenerate the other two. If we don’t choose we will generate a sense of guilt, but if we do we will be afraid of having made the wrong choice! A real trap of the mind. The doubt is located in the Sahasrara chakra, or in the energy center located above our crown which represents the connection with the spiritual world and with the infinite or everything that cannot be rationalized by our mind. Having faith in existence means giving ourselves less personal importance, we must start thinking that whatever we choose will be the right path for us and that this choice is neither final nor that important, perhaps you should start choosing more with your heart and let life takes you where you need to go. This does not mean living passively, but simply doing what we feel we want to do without letting ourselves be devoured by doubt. If you want to be 100% in control of your life, your life will probably be hard and full of disappointments. Living lightly is an art that we must cultivate by simply having a little more faith in life.
